On Saturday, July 20th, I burned 12,165 calories in one day to raise awareness for food insecurity in Whatcom County.
I slept for 2 hours and 20 minutes and then exercised for 15 hours and 20 minutes.
I took 79,311 steps.
At 10 p.m. on Saturday night, I weighed 9.6 pounds less than I did 24 hours before.
But my favorite statistics of all are these:
I worked out with over 100 different people on Saturday spread our over 5 different activities!
And... WE RAISED OVER $100,000 for the Bellingham Food Bank!
I tried so hard to have a miserable day and all of you just kept picking me up along the way. Thank you to every single one of you that played a role in this. I'm truly grateful beyond words. I will be doing my best to thank every one of you one by one over the next couple of weeks. Nothing makes me more proud than the incredible group that supports me every year and nothing makes me want to keep doing this more than the passionate people of Bellingham, Washington. Also, if you haven't donated yet, link is in bio. Hammer that!
With a full heart and sore limbs,
Ethan
